The Mighty Stick Shot

In this lesson we're checking out the mighty stick shot! The stick shot is a fun little technique you can use to get a slightly different percussive sound on any drum. And as you'll see in the video you can build interesting phrases by adding extra notes or techniques to the stick shot.

Yes, you will probably hear Jazz drummers use this technique the most (and it really lends itself to tad grip), but it's a fun and useful technique any drummer should know to add some spice into their fills and solos. Enjoy!
