Single Pedal - Blazing Fast Doubles

In this lesson we look at how to achieve blazing fast doubles, with just one pedal on the bass drum. Just like with sticks, the mechanics changes with a double on the pedal, as it speeds up. When you're playing slow, you use the entire leg for each stroke, meaning you pivot at the hip flexor. This is great for slower tempos as the leg is very strong and stable.

As you speed up, you need to convert to one leg, then an ankle technique on the second stroke. Check the video for full details!
